Cultural Safari

If there is one abiding image of Kenya's wilderness areas, it is that of a nomadic tribesman, walking alone through a remote wilderness.

In Kenya our Parks, Reserves and protected areas are not enclosed zoos or biospheres isolated and cut off from human contact. Here, human culture developed and grew in a cradle of wilderness, and we place a great value on the role of wilderness and wildife in our culture.

For many indigenous Kenyan tribes, life is intextricably linked to the natural patterns and cycles of life death and regeneration.

Here people live amongst wildife and have developed a unique balance between human culture and wilderness.

We believe that this is a vital part of our heritage, and one we wish to protect.
